Lord X strikes a deal with one of his victims: she’ll serve as the Archivist of his decaying digital realm—repairing and organizing its collapsing code, gathering and registering data from his twisted games. In exchange, he’ll allow her to exist in both planes of existence: during the day, he will share in her mind, observing the human world through her eyes; when her consciousness drifts, she will return to her vessel in X's world.
