Ronnie Nelson’s 8th grade year has been great. They were assigned a locker and a class project with Lola, a new girl who Ronnie immediately started crushing on, her parents fully accepted her after she came out, and overall it has just been awesome. That is, until their life goes downhill when her old bully returns to school. Ronnie now is quieter and avoidant of being their normal self, before the person they least expected to help stands up for her and fights back.
