Alder Creek, Oregon: kids are going missing, and Vinny — with his sons Maximus (16) and Nikita (10) — follows the trail to vampires hiding in plain sight: a gas-station clerk, a substitute teacher, a bookkeeper named Harlan Voss. No powers, pure grit. Four issues, one arc closed with the mill raid — but Corvin, the oldest, is still out there posing as a 5th-grade teacher.
