Calvin Fidel is a vampire with a grudge and nothing to lose. Cordilia is the member of a broken home and a biased school that favors her bullies. Their paths cross when she's attacked by someone Calvin wants dead. She's wounded, but there is one way to save her life. Calvin turns her into a vampire, which gives him the right to return to the clan his father banished him from. Cordilia is hesitant about leaving, but when a priest reveals his intentions to save her, she flees her home.
