There is an extra pedal on the passenger side of a driving-school car. Jeong Sun-im has sat in that seat for 21 years. Being able to press it, needing to press it, and needing not to press it are three different things. The students change every time, and every one of them is serious. Sun-im talks a lot but never smiles, and says what is needed a beat late. Signal. Speed. Breathe. One student per episode; each story stands on its own. Teaching means knowing when to take your foot off the pedal.
