The human race is not alone in the universe. 12 years have passed since alien hovercrafts descended from the sky, destroying most of the human race and forcing the remainder underground into vast tunnel systems. This is what our protagonist, Samuel James Alexander, must face as he ventures to the surface each day to scavenge resources from the ruined remnants of civilization, before an encounter with the enemy forces him to realize: humanity is more alone in this universe than we first thought.
