Tomory [Temporary] 200 years after an invasion of alien robots that nearly brought humanity to its end, society has rebuilt around its constant robotic threat, and found a new status quo of advanced technology and isolated cities. In the New York City of 2222, fighters called “Guardians” are trained to defend the city from waves of the robotic menace. One Guardian, a 22 year-old man named Gregory Gunblaze, has his life changed when he meets a mysterious shapeshifting stranger named Thomas.
