Title is based on the "Trans-Atlantic Passenger Trade" saying! James and Georges are both radio opperators on rival ships, the Queen Mary and the Normandie. As they race each other across the Atlantic trading snips and barbs follow along to see if they ever consider each other more than their dearest rival. Set in the 1930's and exploring the real events of the R.M.S Queen Mary's rivalry with the S.S Normandie the comic explores their relationship throughout the era and the challenged within.
