Abel wakes up on an autopsy table and doesn’t remember anything- even himself. Atlas, a scientist who apparently had brought Abel back to life, is willing to help Abel regain all his memories. Atlas may have been a much bigger part of Abel’s life than he ever could have imagined. Too bad Abel can't continue life like normal because if anyone knew of his existence in a time period of strict religious influence, things would go terribly wrong.
