In regards to the 2nd picture: In my interpretation of the LoZ games, items like the Spiritual Stones aren’t magical objects that happened to be made by the divine – they’re magical because of that divine connection, because the divine is present in them, in one way or another. So -- as I see it -- Link, like us, is never on his journey alone. And yes, this is canon for ToP.
