There is a shadowy relic of ancient past, known only as an Umbral Idol, that has found its way to the city of Andelgard. Two thieves, Archer and Vincent are hired to track down and steal this artefact from the mysterious Baron William Marsh. However, they are not the only ones after the Umbral Idol. Inquisition has send one of its best inquisitors, Claudius Lorenz, who teams up with a local Andelgard lieutenant of the city guard, Nell Sharp to investigate Baron's manor in search of the idol.
