In the post-apocalyptic world, a group of people claiming to be Karmic Retribution infects the whole nation with a toxin that turns people into cannibalistic corpses. A mysterious person known as King of Vong Linh seeks to protest against the same group of survivors and a supernatural creature called the corpse. A high school student gets caught up in this war and struggles to save his life while protecting a reincarnated girl named Yoo Yoo that he has to look after.
