When an unlucky boy moves to a seaside town in Japan to start a new life and meets a somehow equally unlucky girl, everything is bound to go wrong, right? Cole is a normal half-American boy with extremely bad luck, who is now moving to his dead fathers homeland with his alcholic mother. Haru has lived by the sea her whole life, and has accepted her fate as the ”unlucky girl”. When they meet and realize how similar their problems are, there is instantly an odd connection formed between the two.
