I summarized what the gap means but basically it meant, the distance between the art we thought of and our actual skills set are. The way to close the gap is by loads of practice and patience. I tend to really criticize myself a lot because I couldn't reach that gap but I know with a lot of practice and patience, I will get there. So breathe, you will get there. :)
