Valentine was a child who didn't believe in luck, unlike her twin sister, Valentina. As she grows to be one very unfortunate teen, she then sees herself as "unlucky" and that maybe her sister was right that luck really does exist. As her perspective begins to change, her whole life is now dependent on luck, as she tries to look for signs in which she isn't unlucky after all, and that maybe, "Better days will come."
