Can you see what the author doesn't? A small village in the year 1939, full of enough magic and mystery to fill a universe, much less a journal. Adventures, knights, tromes, witches, secret languages, and that one gosh darn mannequin that just wants to shake your hand. There's a war in the woods and it's all written here. What are these creatures? Where is this village? Who is the author? I don't know, why are you asking me? *possibly not historically accurate... probably..
