Viola has been 13 for a very long time now. Every day is the same: learn the same things over and over again at school, then return home and give in to Mother’s control. Viola, who wishes to escape the stifling monotony of this life, is told that the only way to move forward in time is to slay monsters and absorb their power. But is that really the only way? And if so, is the reward worth the price?
