Goob, a student at The Los Angeles Magician's University, studies hard but is barely able to pass his finals. The anniversary of his grandmother's death triggers a dormant power within him, a power many in the city will seek to exploit. Will Goob master this new power, or will he become puppet to an apocalyptic prophecy?
