A certain clan used to rule the lands of Vynierka until the Krastite clan rose up against them. In order to grow their strength, the clans elders began a new tradition: Once an “Elderson” reaches six months of age, they are left in the woods with a magic amulet to guide them home when they come of age. Those who return are deemed fit to rule, and those who perish are not. This is the story of one such child.
