On a flooded earth, people with the ability to photosynthesize called Striders threaten the survival of humanity. When Wrenn, a Strider with a mysterious past, crosses paths with a human scavenger named Lloyd, they must learn to work together to overcome their differences. They will embark on a journey where they will discover the answers to the mysterious world they live in, all the while being pursued by those who feel threatened by them.
