On his last summer vacation with his mother, Wren Choroba mulls over his bleak outlook on life and gets angry at the fact that he still misses his friends from way back when he was in a band. He wishes he could get a break, and it isn't too long until he gets one. A break so detrimental that he could only call it a fissure. A break that painstakingly hauls him back into consciousness and feeling genuine fear for the first time again.
