The story is set from the perspective of our protagonists, Freki and Ripper, who are divine beings created by a goddess called Mother, who come down to planets to live with mortals but who will slowly destroy the mortals of each planet they visit as well as the world itself. At the same time, they will have to fight an internal conflict about whether it is right to follow everything their mother tells them or if it is better to follow their own beliefs.
