Everything and nothing seems fine at the same time at school. To most everything is normal. Cracks in the walls are standard. Disappearing people are forgotten and discarded. This is normal to everyone except Lacy and May. They both can tell something is off. They don’t know what yet though. But maybe as they are walking down the halls to the classes, homework, all of that, they can find out what is wrong.
