Before my mother passed, she would sometimes talk about “the eyes are the portal through which the world is invited into the soul”. I thought this was some nonsense about appreciating the world we live in. Now I realize, she was also cursed. She could have been a little more f*cking clear instead of spouting bullsh*t.
