In a world just like ours , some have words associated with them known as misfortunes. These misfortunes can manifest at any time, and are a nuisance to the afflicted no matter what it is. The Fortunate are those who are elites and manage to get over their affliction. MILF is a secret organization to hunt those with misfortunes who lash out. Follow Kōji Nakamura (more commonly known as Mr. Kaleidoscope) struggle through his mediocre living and find meaning in a life of misfortune.
