1692- the year of the Salem Witch Trials. Chara is a little girl caught in a very bad situation. A mage herself, she is a target of the witch hunt. So she runs away, concealing her magic, and falls into the darkness of Mount Ebott. The royal Dreemurr family finds Chara and rescues her, choosing to raise her as their own. While not all goes smoothly, Chara begins to love her new home, and the monsters consider that humans may not be so terrible. But Chara is not the only human in the Underground.
