Eelp, a reclusive artist from the island of Wola, is commissioned by local fisherman, Kalolo, to build him a boat. After years of feeling Alienated, Eelp is immediately drawn to Kalolo's sunny and whimsical nature. Together, they go on a journey across the ocean in search of a better life.
