Poor, stubborn scholar Tao Wangsan has no money, no wife, and no patience for superstition, so he moves into the one mansion in town where every gatekeeper has died. On his very first night, his books go missing... and two mischievous ghost girls, sly Qiurong and cheeky little Xiaoxie, decide this new tenant is their favorite toy.
