The main character's name is Arya, she is 17 and has a 8 year old brother who is named adam. She wants to move out right at 18 with her brother who would be 10, she wants him to grow up and have a good childhood which is what she wished for as a kid, her having abusive parents. She try's many jobs and talks back a lot which leads her to get fired...
