I've had multiple exes tell me they didn't want me transitioning because they liked me just the way I was. One even told me they wouldn't let me transition because I would be ruining my body. It surprised me at first but I realized that having someone who loves me for me as a person and not my looks or gender is what people should always do. I truly feel lucky to have someone that genuinely cares.
