Kemian is just a smuggler. It's not the most noble profession, but it pays and it keeps him fed. He doesn't hurt anyone, and he minds his own business. One day, though, he witnesses an child being abducted. An elven child. Suddenly caught up in the affairs of the elves, Kemian finds himself in a mess that's way over his head, surrounded by people he barely understands and probably shouldn't trust, including a powerful prince who is offering to help..
