Being an artist is one of the hardest things that I have ever done. There is no real manual on how to figure this stuff out. Each artist has their own unique vision. Sure you can copy/emulate other artists for a while, but if that is all you do, then your end result will only be someone else's vision. You must find your own voice, and sing it as loud as you can.
