So the issue with the washer turned out to be the bit that pushes the button that tells it the lid is closed, so it wouldn't run. I feel silly for not immediately thinking of that. Roommate found the piece and reattached it, so we don't need a new machine just yet. Inks on the comic are coming along. I'm not quite halfway done at the moment.
