Tortoiseshell cats are also called "torties" and have patchy dual toned orange and black fur or other diluted versions of this color scheme. They are beautiful cats that sometimes have striking asymmetries in their coat patterns. They are also almost always female! I imagine this Retortie cat might not always be very polite with her retorts, but I always enjoy the great comments I get here!!
