Since I was a kid, I always found it odd that the suggestion of "maybe random strangers shouldn't be outright judgmental to a father, son and animal they've never met and otherwise don't care about" doesn't exist as a takeaway. But nah, let's tell kids that you can insult someone for doing something you don't like and badger them until they give in, then mock them for doing so under your duress.
