I've never been overly fond of the "110%" platitude. I get that encouraging people to exceed limitations is considered to be positive, but that's simply not how reality works. When you inevitably plateau, your subsequent lack of improvement is just going to make you feel worse. And as the comic points out, "giving more than asked of you" doesn't suddenly stop being context-dependent.
