Positivism and optimism are the sort of things everyone else loves to foist on everyone else - surely nobody would possibly complain about being positive unless something was wrong with said person. The problem is that even believing in the good of everything has its contexts, but that doesn't stop people trying to stamp out negative responses by any means necessary.
