In the original photocomic, you met the members of the Legion of Doom first as individual stories, then had the FuzzyCon arc (which was how they all met) and then, much later, the Tournment War. But this time around, I needed to make them better connected, so I have them all part of the same storyline, which poses its own challenges. Still, I think it works better like this.
