Now is a good time to talk about my justification for my creative choices in character design. They are not there for shock value. Lina is dressed in an objectifying way because that's the point. It's to illustrate the lack of humanity in war despite the fact that wars are fought by humans, and what better to illustrate that than by using the two most objectified things in manga: Mechs and Women?
