This was always an interesting point for me to get to in the story. That flying machine featured here was something that actually appeared in a dream of mine a number of years ago while I was having counselling :-) As I was developing the story for HORIZON I knew I wanted to get it in at some point, and this presented itself as the opportunity. And don't worry, you haven't seen the last of it ;-)
