Behind the steep walls of an old-fangled zoo
Lived animals Wild!
And a Zookeeper too.
The Zoo was declining,
Showing its age -
So to cut costs they crammed three beasts per cage!
“I’d much rather live by myself all alone”,
Said Panther tragically gnawing a bone
Monkey spun round until she was sore,
Lion collapsed and said,
“What a bore!”
