TOPThis is increasingly depressing and I love the swing the story has taken. I can't wait for the redemption arc in which she heals. Stellar character writing.

TOPArguably this began with Ellie and her extreme standards. It could also be argued it began with Hubbs never learning how to stand up for himself and assert his needs and views in a relationship. It could also be argued the problem occurred when they decided they had to immediately married after Ellie got pregnant, and the apparently didn’t bother to actually get to know each other during the pregnancy. Personally I think the relationship was cute but never once was handled maturely.
