I feel uniquely qualified to say: you get out of homeschooling what you're willing and able to put into it. The school my oldest is in is a GREAT school, but is starting to struggle and show definite signs of learning disorders that I feel would be better addressed at home (I have trust issues). My husband worries I won't be able to put in enough effort and they'll suffer for my tutelage instead.
