If you were wondering how Kios got so high in the air, he just blew a large amount of fire out of his feet and blasted off like a rocket. It's not very controllable, but it works when you want to get out of an undesirable situation. This blasting off, is one of the reasons Heaven Flame gets it's name. You'll see him use it in the future.
