Upon further questioning, Ecco doesn't to be very eager to meet Kevin's friends, or explain why he's on the run for that matter, but speaks only to ask for a little snack. Seeing the bland and miniscule meals the school kids are all given, however, and the reasons for it they're made to believe, Ecco becomes disheartened, and has the nearest poor kid he can find (Kevin) prove his objection.
