In order for Ecco to return to the metaphysical realm of The Fabrica, the supremacy of The Emperor must be contested through the Real Realm, the only place left where Ecco can take refuge. There, Ecco also discloses how Kevin aided his escape, and just what exactly feeds the Steinerkonig his body and powers.
