Social 9: Federal Government- Choice Board
The Federal Government is separated into 3 sections- the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. The Executive branch executes the law- its made up of the Governor General, Prime Minister, and the Cabinet. The Legislative branch proposes the laws- its made up of the House of Commons and the Senate. The Judicial branch is separate from the others, they interpret the laws and make sure laws passed by the other branches don't violate the rights of any Canadians. its made up of the court.
