I grew up loving Calvin and Hobbes. They're my happy place. I was working on a book about the fire department, which is my day job when things got a little too painful. I decided I needed to work on something just for me to make me smile. Spaceman Spiff, Warlock from the mutants and Jeff Lemire's Descender all came together with a mountain of silliness.
