I forgot to mention yesterday when the comic introduced the Weddell… there actually is a cliff in Antarctica (perhaps several) with seal corpses at the bottom. They weren’t base jumping, not on purpose anyway, it's believed they got lost in a storm and the leader led them off a cliff to their end. With the freezing temperature and no predators, the corpses become mummified.
