Ancient Mesopotamia. Inanna is a sweet girl always wanting to be helpful to her mother. While helping her mother, Inanna nearly drowns in the Tigress River. This causes her to change, catching the attention of the king. Inanna stays with the Royal family and during this time she discovers her new abilities and learns the horrible history from centuries ago pertaining to these abilities. Inanna is forced to keep this a secret, while she meets a seemingly crude princess.
